PM e-VIDYA is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to enhance the momentum of the solutions provided in the education sector in India and abroad to drive global efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness. Detailed Eligibility for EdCIL Teacher Recruitment 2024:

Educational Qualification:

Academic Consultant:

Masters’ Degree in Mathematics/History / Political Science/Economics / Geography /Sociology / Physics / Chemistry from recognized University /Institute or equivalent with 55% marks or equivalent grade for general category and 50% in case of SC/ST/PH/Women candidates.
PhD /NET/SLET Qualified in relevant subject
A minimum of 5 years of experience of working as an academic expert in educational projects at national / state level in the education sector or equivalent with knowledge of computer application

Business Consultant:

Post-Graduation in Business Administration from a recognized University with 55 % marks or equivalent grade in general category and in case of SC/ST/PH it will be 50%.
A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in Industry or Government set up.

PR Consultant:

Post-graduation in Mass Communication & Journalism or Public Relations or PR & Advertising or Digital Media with 55 % marks or equivalent grade in general category and in case of SC/ST/PH it will be 50% from a recognized University or
Post-graduation in any subject with 55 % marks or equivalent grade in general category and in case of SC/ST/PH it will be 50% from recognized University and PG Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism / Advertisement or equivalent areas.
Desirable: PhD /NET/ SLET Qualified in relevant subject.
A minimum of 5 years of overall experience in relevant areas.
In case of Post-graduation with PG Diploma, a minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant areas

Note: The appointment of Academic Consultant, Business Consultant and PR Consultant are purely on a contract basis initially for one year.

Upper Age Limit(As on 30 April 2024):

Not more than 45 Years

Age Relaxation: The Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for OBC/SC/ST/PH/women candidates

Salary details of EdCIL Vacancy 2024: Consolidated consultancy fee of Rs.70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand Only) per month

Selection Process for EdCIL Teacher Recruitment 2024:

The selection process will be based on academic qualifications and experience. It may include any one or all of these: written test, group discussion and interview as may be decided depending on the total number of eligible applicants.

Educational Qualification:

Chief Consultant:

Master’s degree in Education/Social work/Public Policy/M.Des./M.Tech./ MBA or two years PG Diploma in Management with at least 60% from a recognized University
Essential:
- Eight years’ post-qualification experience in the relevant fields of social development sector or education sector, Education, Faculty Development, Training, and Administration.
- Should have good communication skills
- Should be well-versed with ICT skills
Desirable: Experience in the Education and Incubation Sector, organizing training programs, faculty development programs, contract management, and management reporting

Senior Consultant:

Master’s Degree in Social Sciences / Education / Social work /MBA with at least 60% from a recognized university
Essential: 5 years post-qualification experience in Education, social sector, etc.
Desirable: Persons with M.Phil, M.Tech, PhD, additional qualifications, research experience, published papers in the relevant field would be preferred

Consultant – Category – I :

A Master’s Degree in Commerce / Accounting from a recognized University / Institute
Essential:
- 03 or more years of post-qualification experience in the service sector managing accounts, invoices and disbursal of funds
- Should have ICT skills
- Should have good communication skills
Desirable:
- Experience in the Education and Incubation Sector, handling government grants, UC preparation and compliance
- Experience in handling software modules in Central Govt./State Govt./ PS, Administration, Accounting

Consultant – Category – II:

A Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute
Essential:
- 03 years of experience in the social development sector or education sector
- Should have sound knowledge of ICT skills
- Should have good communication skills
Desirable: Exclusive experience in Social Sectors.

Duration: The selected candidate will be engaged initially for the period ending 31 March 2026 on a contractual basis.
